I gave up work last September to take a step back and focus on things that I care the most. Sure, I miss BPO but I miss painting more. I can't say that I'm really good at it because I don't have any formal training but I'm passionate about it.

Last December, Bugsy asked me to do a painting for his upcoming full-length indie film. I was overwhelmed. Of course, no one asked me before to do a painting job. I didn't know what to reply, I even convinced myself not to take it and recommend someone I know who is capable and talented than I am. The fact that they trusted me to do a job that shall be part of their life, I just can't simply take that for granted. And it struck me that the reason why I gave up bi-monthly salary is to focus on creativity. So I took the job and learned a lot during the process. I do not mean to brag but it's just surreal.
